The profession of Africa Institute of Chartered Education Administrators comprises members who act predominantly on development of educational services and are habitually engaged in a professional capacity in any area of Investigation, Management, Administration, Evaluation and Development of Manpower and Training.

PURPOSE
AICEA is an International Professional Organization for Leaders, Managers and Administrators of all Professional Disciplines. More especially those involved in development of Manpower and Training, Regardless of Title, Location or National origin, providing members and the public with Information, Education and Resources in any professional disciplines.

 
Subject to the provisions of the Institute's constitution, persons admitted to membership of Institute, shall be enrolled as Educational Managers and Administrators in the category of:
i. Students
ii. Graduate Members
iii. Associates
iv. Members
v. Fellows
vi. Life members
vii. Corporate members

STUDENTS:
To register as student of Africa Institute of Chartered Education Administrators, intending Student must have Minimum of five (5) credit passes in Senior Secondary Examination including English and Mathematics and must not be below the age of eighteen (18) years of age. Student awaiting result will be given provisional admission but will be required to submit the complete result before writing module B foundation examination when all Students will go through certificate verification exercise.

GRADUATE MEMBERS
Fresh graduates from a recognized Institution or experienced NCE Certificate or equivalent Certificate holders with not less than Three [3] years working experience.

ASSOCIATES:
Any person who passed the Foundation, Intermediate and the Final qualifying examination of the Institute with two years working experience.
OR
Any person who holds a degree from a recognised University or Institution and pass the final qualifying examination of the Institute with two years working experience.
OR
Any person who holds Master or Doctoral degree from a recognised University or Institution and pass the Conversion Examination of the Institute with six months working Experience.

MEMBERS:
Any person who has satisfied the council as to his/her academic and professional knowledge and has been in continuous practice of Educational Management and Administration for a period not less than eight (8) consecutive years and at least three (3) years as an Associate of the Institute. Such candidate will be required to present a research paper on approved topic which will not be less in quality than that required for a P.hD degree in a recognised University or Institution.

FELLOWS:
Any person who has satisfied the council as to his/her academic and professional knowledge and has been in continuous practice of Educational Management and Administration for a period not less than ten (10) consecutive years and at least two (2) years as Member of the Institute. And has in the opinion of the Council rendered special or outstanding service to the Institute.

LIFE MEMBERS:
Life membership shall comprise of person who has been a fellow for a continuous period of not less than ten (10) years and who must have retired from active practice and have in the opinion of the council rendered special or outstanding service to the Institute.

CORPORATE MEMBER:
The council shall cause to be kept a register of Corporate members which shall consist of the Names, Addresses and Chief Executives of Educational Institutions at all levels To qualify as a Corporate Member, the training outfit shall first of all be registered under the appropriate law in their Country with evidence of recognition and the outfit shall apply for membership through the AICEA. Pay the required application fee including annual fee and such application must also meet the following requirements: Must have five Members of the Institute in her teaching team. Donate prescribed intellectual property. Additionally, Corporate members must have conducive training facilities including qualified lecturers.

CERTIFICATE OF MEMBERSHIP:
Every member (including Corporate members) shall be entitled to Certificate of Membership appropriate to the class to which he is elected and bearing the seal of the Institute. This Certificate shall remain the property of the Institute and shall be surrendered upon termination of the membership. If a member satisfies the council that the certificate of his membership has been lost or destroyed he may obtain from the Institute a duplicate copy thereof on payment of such fees as may be prescribed by the council from time to time. The Institute may register a member as an honorary Fellow After an election by the council. Fellows, Members and Associates of the Institute shall be entitled to use after their name the words `Fellow, Member or Associate of Chartered Institute of Educational Management and Administration respectively or the initials `` F. Edu.MA (for Fellow), M. Edu.MA (for Member) and A. Edu.MA (for Associate)''

PRACTICING CERTIFICATE:
Each Member engaged in Public or Private practice of the profession, shall be entitled to a practicing certificate bearing the seal of the Institute. This certificate shall remain the property of the Institute and shall be surrendered upon termination of Membership

STUDENT REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
•    Every intending student must first of all obtain and fill our Application Form. Application form can be downloaded here on our website (click here to download) or can be obtained from any of our registered centers.
•    After filling and completing the application form, a scanned copy of the form should be submitted by mail to AICEA or can be submitted to any of our registered centers.
•    A Conditional Offer Letter will be issued to you (via your email address) after the approval of your application.
•    After receiving your conditional offer, resolve any Academic conditions and effect Payment of Registration Fee.
•    Upon receipt of the above payment, a receipt and Unconditional offer (Admission Letter) will be issued to you by email.
•    Students are to print their Letter of Admission. The printed admission letter is the requirement for acceptance at any of our approved study centers.

GRADUATE MEMBERSHIP PROGRAMME
The Governing Council of Chartered Institute of Educational Management and Administration has recently approved direct GRADUATE MEMBERSHIP programme for fresh graduates from Universities, Polytechnics and related Institutions, members of National Youth Service Corps and others holding qualifications equivalent to first degree qualifications.

Under this Scheme, mature individuals with adequate working experience and minimum of NCE or equivalent qualification can also be admitted.

Admitted Graduate Members will be qualified to write our module F examinations to qualify them for Associate membership of the Institute.

Method of application:
•    Intended applicant will download the registration form from the website (under admission sub head), fill and sign the form and return same with scanned copies of their Credentials to AICEA
The returned form with other attachment will be evaluated by membership committee for the candidate eligibility. Upon approval by the membership committee, a mail confirming the eligibility and payment code will be forwarded to the applicant to effect payment.
Soft copy of the Graduate Membership Certificate will be sent within 72hours of acknowledging the payment. Hard copy will then be issued at the Investiture venue or posted to those that may not be able to physically attend the Investiture programme.
